Current Openings - Senior Developer Position (Posted September 23rd, 2011)

INETCO is currently hiring for the role of Senior Developer.

INETCO Insight consists of a highly modular core with real time data collection, protocol decode, correlation, analysis, and information delivery subsystems. The successful applicant will work as a senior member of the INETCO Research and Development team to extend these capabilities as well as to provide new ones.

These components are written in the C and C++ languages and so require senior skills in these areas.

Other requirements are:

• Possession of a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree and 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in C and C++ code optimization, object-oriented programming design, and developing and implementing computer algorithms.
• Knowledge of the Windows programming environment with specific knowledge of system programming techniques.
• Experience in developing high performance and reliable server applications.
• Ability to design at the component level and to accurately communicate and document those designs.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

The following would be definite assets:

• Knowledge of the Linux programming environment.
• Knowledge of networking and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of cloud and distributed computing technologies.
• Oracle database experience.
