INETCO Systems Limited develops sophisticated network monitoring software products. Its flagship product, INETCO Insight is a distributed computing platform that monitors enterprise network traffic to provide enterprise users with real time information regarding how the various components of their distributed systems are operating from the perspective of end users. The technology involved in doing this consists of a highly modular, data driven platform with real time data collection, protocol decode, correlation, analysis, and information delivery subsystems.

Current Openings

INETCO currently has openings for two positions on their engineering team:  Senior C/C++ Systems Developer and Machine Learning Researcher and Developer

Senior C/C++ Systems Developer Position (Posted April 17, 2012)

The successful applicant will work as a senior member of the INETCO Research and Development team to improve and enhance the underlying core of this platform for the Windows operating system.

Requirements:

• Possession of a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree.
• 5+ years of experience with strong C and C++ development skills.
• Experience with operating systems fundamentals, C/C++ code optimization, object-oriented design, and algorithms.
• Knowledge of the Windows operating system and programming environment with specific knowledge of system programming techniques.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

The following would be definite assets:

• Interest and experience in working at the systems level.
• Experience with time constrained C/C++) applications for Windows (e.g. low latency games, multimedia streaming).
• Experience in developing high performance and reliable server applications.
• Involvement in open source development projects.
• Knowledge of cloud and distributed computing technologies.

Machine Learning Researcher and Developer(Posted April 26, 2012)

The successful applicant will work as a member of the INETCO Research and Development team to research and develop new AI methods to enhance and automate correlation, discovery and anomaly detection in our INETCO Insight product.  You will be responsible for researching appropriate techniques, building and evaluating prototypes and development of systems into production quality.

Requirements:

• Possession of an advanced Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree.
• Strong background in design and implementation of machine learning techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical techniques to solve real problems.
• Strong C++ development skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

The following would be definite assets:

• 2+ year experience working as software developer.
• Knowledge of network protocols.
• Experience with Java and/or Python.
• Experience in developing high performance and reliable applications.
• Knowledge of cloud and distributed computing technologies.
