Bijan Sanii: Chief Executive Officer

Bijan Sanii has more than 20 years history as a technology industry executive. Prior to joining INETCO, Bijan was Executive Chair at UB Video, which developed one of the key enabling technologies for video over IP. He provided leadership and guidance that culminated in the acquisition of the company by Scientific-Atlanta (now a Cisco company).

Prior to UB Video, Bijan joined Infowave Software in 1997. As General Manager of the Imaging Division, he successfully led a restructuring of the business and generated a record operating profit in 1998. He was later appointed Infowave's Chief Operating Officer and CEO where he worked on Infowave's IPO and negotiating strategic partnership agreements with Intel Corp, Compaq Computer Corporation, and other technology industry leaders.

Bijan currently serves on the Board of Directors for ACETECH and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). He was born in London, U.K. and graduated with honors from the Polytechnic of Central London (now University of Westminster) with a B.A. in Economics.


Marc Borbas: Vice President Marketing

Marc Borbas has worked in the application and network security software industry for more than 10 years, with an extensive background in marketing, business strategy and product development.

Prior to joining INETCO, Marc was Group Product Manager at Sophos, a leading network security company based in the United Kingdom. He was the catalyst behind Sophos's strategic investment in the web security market and drove the resulting product from inception through full market launch.

Before Sophos, Marc was a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Business Objects, a leading business intelligence company. He joined Business Objects through its 2003 acquisition of Crystal Decisions, where he was a key member of the team that built the Crystal brand and marketing strategy and delivered 30% year-over- year revenue growth over 11 straight quarters.

Prior to that, he held technical marketing positions at Fincentric, a provider of financial services software. Marc has a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Computing Science from Simon Fraser University.


Jim McIntosh: Vice President Strategic Initiatives

A serial entrepreneur in the technology business for more than 20 years, Jim McIntosh has been instrumental in advancing products from concept stage to world-class, money-making innovations.

Former CEO of HABIT Research and Locator Systems Corporation and former President and CEO of Infowave Software and GDT Softworks Inc., he has first-hand experience leading companies to profitability.

Revenues for HABIT Research and Locator Systems Corporation grew more than 450 percent before the company was sold in 2008 to LoJack Corporation. Jim was also responsible for Infowave’s ascent to world-leader status in printer driver software for the Macintosh operating system and then leading the company into the then emerging wireless messaging market by developing software for wireless access to corporate information. During his tenure, Infowave was a recognized technology leader in enterprise wireless solutions with a market cap in excess of C$350m.

Angus Telfer: Founder and Chief Technical Officer

Angus Telfer is instrumental in the design and development of all INETCO technologies and products, including the recently introduced business transaction intelligence technology, and INETCO's established communications products for high reliability, high performance transaction networks. These products are installed in a large number of small to large enterprises in 50 nations worldwide.

Prior to starting INETCO in 1984, Angus held research and development positions in a number of companies including Bell Northern Research, Bell Telephone Laboratories, MPR Teltech, and Network Consulting Inc. In these positions he designed and developed technologies involving quality of service measurement, voice communications and recognition, protocol analysis, network monitoring and billing, and interactive graphical display.

Angus is a Professional Engineer and holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Engineering from the University of Waterloo. An original member of the IEEE 802 standards committee, Angus frequently contributed to the IEC Annual Review of Communications, and continues to be involved in various technical groups involving communications and event processing.


Loki Jorgenson: Chief Scientist

Loki Jorgenson provides INETCO with invaluable thought leadership on a range of application management and performance topics.  He holds the responsibility of directing the research team and investigating emerging technologies and opportunities.  As the author of 10 filed technology patents, Loki has a proven track record of innovation and strategic IP development. 

Recognized by Tech Target as an expert in network performance, Loki Jorgenson has regularly been a featured speaker at industry conferences and academic symposiums.  Loki is also active with standards bodies such as the IETF, and will maintain INETCO’s research relationships with various academic groups. If you “Google” Loki, you will gain a good appreciation for his published articles and technical whitepapers. 

Previously, Loki Jorgenson was Chief Scientist and co-founder of Apparent Networks Inc.  At ANI, Loki directed the focus on expert systems, VoIP/video modeling, network performance and diagnostics, and packet behavior analysis. Prior to Apparent Networks, Loki co-founded the Centre for Experimental and Constructive Mathematics at Simon Fraser University.  His work spanned a diverse range of technology research from 1993 to 2000, including high performance computing and grid networks, collaborative and distance learning, distributed interactivity, scientific visualization and algorithms development for mathematics.  Loki earned his doctorate from McGill University in 1993, specializing in statistical mechanics and computational physics. 

In his spare time, Loki practices a variety of martial arts and is an avid cyclist.


Mark Johnston: Chief Operating Officer

Mark Johnston has more than 25 years experience in high-tech sales, marketing and channel development.

Prior to joining INETCO, Mark was Vice President of Sales and Technical Marketing at Intrinsyc Software Inc. (TSX: ICS) and was instrumental in expanding Intrinsyc's existing engineering services business into global markets and establishing the company as a major provider of cellular platform software products.

Previously, Mark spent 22 years focused on communications technologies and global markets at Intel Corporation, holding recent positions of General Manager Communications Sales and Marketing for Asia Pacific, Director Global Marketing for the Cellular and Handheld Group, and Director World Wide Technical Sales and Support. His efforts have helped make Intel a top player in both the communications infrastructure and cellular handset silicon markets worldwide.


Gordon Chan: Vice President Business Development

Gordon Chan is a 15-year veteran of the retail banking and electronic payment processing industry and is in charge of worldwide business development and support for INETCO's product lines.

In this role he initiated and executed a channel strategy that catapulted INETCO to be the partner of choice for the payment processing solution providers, resulting in a quadrupling of revenue over a four-year period and expanding INETCO's customer base from 10 to 50 countries. In this process Gordon led the formation of key partnerships and alliances with key vendors, including Siemens, Rogers, ACI, Stratus, and Postilion.

Gordon has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computer Engineering) from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.
