Current Positions Available
Senior Rich Internet Application Developer
INETCO is seeking a senior software developer specializing in Flex- based RIA and Java web application development to join our team in building our next generation management client and supporting servers. We’re passionate about our customer-facing user interface and “getting it right” at INETCO. The senior developer will participate in the design of our management client application framework, dashboard and widget implementations, supporting servers, and coding of the client with other team members. The senior developer will report to the CTO and will take technical ownership of the design and code for their assigned areas of our products.
Responsibilities
- Work with usability lead, other R&D team members and CTO to review user interface requirements and specifications.
- Create and finalize technical designs and specifications for RIA client software.
- Develop and code Flex RIAs as per design.
- Assist in the design and implementation of supporting Java-based web servers.
- Assist with user acceptance testing by fixing usability defects in current and new RIA clients.
- Maintain RIA and supporting servers through the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering degree. An MSc would be beneficial.
- 2+ years developing production Adobe Flex/AIR (Flex 3/4 –MXML, ActionScript) applications.
- Experience with PureMVC Framework or another Flex MVC framework would be beneficial.
- Experience in developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping user interfaces.
- Demonstrated Object-Oriented Programming skills.
- Experience with Java-based web servers and frameworks (Servlets, JEE, Spring Framework).
