How do I get INETCO Insight updates?
The INETCO web site has a password-protected area within the INETCO Customer Support Center that allows customers to review technical documentation, access training materials, and download specific software patches and product updates for INETCO Insight. Log-in now!
INETCO Insight customers will receive email notifications on recommended software updates, documentation updates, and new training materials as they are made available for download from the support center. To access this information, you will be required to enter your log-in name and password.
Usernames and passwords can be requested or reset by contacting support.

INETCO Insight 4.8.3 Release Notes - April 30th, 2011
Enhancements:
- This release is focused on providing increased security/encryption capabilities for those customers operating in highly secure environments.
- INETCO Insight now supports the Thales nShield HSM (hardware security module). The HSM provides hardware protection of encryption keys and encrypts any transaction data stored to disk. (NOTE: Support for Windows EFS and storage of encryption keys in software is still provided at software installation time.)
- In addition to the pre-existing capabilities to treat certain informations as forbidden by default, INETCO Insight now supports customized message definition tables to modify which data is forbidden. Transaction data marked as forbidden will never be stored to disk.
- INETCO Insight’s browser interface now logs all authentication events (i.e. logins, login attempts, logouts, etc.) and all user requests of transaction details.
- INETCO Insight now supports the ability to log undecoded transaction messages to disk.
- Masking of any transaction message field, including “Primary Account Number”, can now be specified in the message definition tables. This allows masking to be customized for each message type.
- Correlation of 8583/2805 message types has been strengthened to only correlate messages within the same message class (e.g. Authorization message, Financial Transaction messages, Reversal message, Administrative messages, etc).
- A transaction that contains messages that are collected from different INETCO Insight Event Collectors can now be correlated.
- The third party software used within INETCO Insight has been updated to the current versions. These are:

• Java Runtime Environment version 6 update 31
• OpenSSL 1.0.1
• PostgreSQL 8.3.18
• WinPcap 4.1.2

Enhancements:
- Improved Oracle database performance for INETCO Insight reporting by utilizing the native Oracle OCI interface.
- Third party web server software integrated into INETCO Insight has updated to the most current versions:
• Apache Tomcat version 6.0.33
• Java Runtime Environment version 6 update 27 - EBCDIC encoding is now supported for message formats that use field separators or fixed length fields (e.g. Diebold 91x, Diebold
CSP, Triton, APACS 30, etc). - EBCDIC encoding for length based framing types (e.g. NDC+, TNS, etc) is now supported through custom framing configuration.

Enhancements:
- Support for NCR Gasper Vantage™ and NCR APTRA™ Vision “General Message Map” ST Format and “Fixed Format Message” Format -IT teams can forward transaction intelligence alerts via an output format specifically designed for integration with the Gasper Vantage or APTRA Vision ATM monitoring platforms.
- Decode Support Status Reporting - A new support feature that counts the number of unsupported transaction protocols and message types being captured by INETCO Insight. This monthly report will alert the INETCO support team to the potential need for new decoding tables and any transaction decode errors or anomalies. (No actual transaction information is sent.)
- Increased Throughput - The maximum transaction rate that can be monitored has been increased by over 80% of that achieved by INETCO Insight 4.6.
