INETCO POSway Help & Troubleshooting
If you have a POSway question that is not being addressed below, contact us and we will be back to you within 24 hours.
How can I find out what version am I currently running?
From the “POSway Configuration” menu, go to the “Help” pull down menu and click “About POSway Configuration”.
Or, from the Command Prompt, enter “nver”.
I added a new ATM or POS terminal, and I know the configuration is correct. Why does it not work?
Any changes you made in the “POSway Configuration” menu, you need to do a “Commit” before the changes will take effect.
Why can’t I do a “Commit” after updating my POSway configuration?
First check that you have the right access permissions - you will need to log in as a local administrator. If you are a domain user, you will need to add the user to access POSway. The “User Access Control” is under “Service” in the “POSway Configuration” menu.
How can I connect to POSway via IE?
You need to install the POSway webserver that is provided with the POSway software.
Can I install the POSway webserver onto the same server as the POSway server?
Yes, but it is highly recommended for larger organizations to install the POSway webserver onto a different server.
How can I tell if POSway is working or not?
From the command prompt, enter “nstatus” to output the status of POSway on the screen.
Who should I contact if I need help?
You can either log into the customer support center, or send an email to the support team.
“INETCO POSway and BankLink have "set and forget" installations. In the rare instances that we have needed technical support we have found the INETCO technicians to be knowledgeable and very willing to help us.“
