Francisco Maroto is the Head of Blockchain & Digital Assets of Clients Solutions Strategy at BBVA, acting as a program manager in blockchain and crypto projects to define the company’s global blockchain strategy. Previously, Francisco was responsible for the Swift Global Centre at global operations, leading the effort of payments and Swift-related projects such as SEPA migration, Bizum or Swift GPI. He is licensed in Business Management at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and holds a masters in International Relations and Foreign Trade at Aliter / U.C. Berkeley.
