Lisa Payne is a seasoned executive and trusted strategic advisor in the technology industry. She has held multiple C-level leadership roles and participated in several successful company exits, including her recent position at Encepta, an Alacrity portfolio company where she facilitated the successful scale-up and acquisition by Ram. Following this, she advised other Alacrity Companies before joining INETCO.

As a veteran in obtaining growth funding, her accomplishments include securing over $100 million dollars in funding from various channels, including government (IRAP, SDTC, and SRED) and debt and equity, including angel, venture capital, and private equity.

Lisa’s past leadership roles include diverse industries such as Telecom (Scientific Atlanta and TeraSpan), AI and IoT (Wavemakers, Harman International, MineSense), enterprise SaaS (Colligo), and biotech (Criterion, which she co-founded).

Lisa was named by Business in Vancouver as one of the top 10 women in technology and by BC Business as one of BC’s most influential STEM women in 2018. Lisa actively serves as a mentor to several BC start-ups. She has served as an Audit Council member of the Auditor General for local governments in the province of British Columbia and later served as a director of the Focus Foundation, which helps high-risk youth achieve their potential.
