Peter Bull

Chairman, West Pender Property Group and President of P.M. Bull & Company Ltd.

Peter Bull is the Chairman of the West Pender Property Group and the President of P.M. Bull & Company Ltd. and its affiliates. The companies are primarily focused on investing in the commercial real estate and building materials sectors. Additionally, Mr. Bull’s companies also provide venture capital to life sciences, medical, and software companies.

Mr. Bull sits or has sat on the board of two public companies: Tree Island Steel and Adentra Inc. He is a director and officer of many private companies.

Known for his vision and as a champion of entrepreneurial individuals and businesses, particularly B.C.-headquartered companies, CEOs, and not-for-profits, Mr. Bull is a thought leader who supports management in driving positive results through disciplined and accountable operations, financial management, and innovative product development.

A passionate believer in contributing to the community, Mr. Bull has served as director, among others, for St. Mark’s and Corpus Christi Colleges at UBC, Vancouver College, Providence Health Care, and he is a Founding Co-Chair of the B.C. Centre for Substance Use Community Engagement Committee. Mr. Bull chaired Providence Health Care’s Building Committee for 10 years, which oversees the development of the $3 billion New St. Paul Hospital & Clinical Service & Research Buildings. When completed, it aims to become the most globally connected healthcare innovation hub in Canada. In September 2025, Mr. Bull will join the Board of the Audain Foundation.

Peter has been, or continues to be, a special adviser to the President of UBC and the CEO of Providence Health Care. He has received numerous awards, including an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Corpus Christi/St. Mark’s Colleges, Honorary Alumni Designation from Vancouver College, and was inducted into the UBC Sports Hall of Fame as a distinguished Builder. He was awarded the Benemerenti medal by Pope Francis for his lasting and exceptional service to the community.
